It's the Boy Scouts' motto and the subject of a recent gospel lesson: be prepared. Plan before you pack. Know how to get somewhere before you leave home. Have a flashlight nearby when a storm is coming. It works well when we know the when and where. But what if we have no idea the day or time? How do we prepare? I think that's where faith comes in. We continue to read God's word and trust in his Beloved Son as the Truth. And when we fail or forget? Remember God is with you.
