Let Him Lead You...

On this day, 18 years ago, I was ordained as a minister of word and sacrament in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. It is a date that has forever changed my life, and the lives of my family members. Countless baptisms, funerals and weddings; 216 council meetings. Many tears and much laughter. Before becoming a minister, I was a newspaper reporter and a public relations writer. Why the change? The short version? “God’s yes is louder than my no.” May you too be open to where God might be leading you.
